Apply by March 11 for the Spring 2011 Service Corps
Net Impact’s Service Corps program provides an opportunity for our NJ and NYC chapter volunteers and nonprofits to come together for actionable consulting projects. These 10-12 week projects focus on marketing, business planning/operations, and strategic planning. Volunteers commit 15-20 hours per month to a nonprofit client, creating valuable relationships with team members, developing their understanding of the nonprofit sector, and creating meaningful impact for their client nonprofit. On Monday, March 7, 6:30-8:30 pm at Sidebar (120 East 15th Street) there will be a happy hour/meet and greet with non-profit representatives in attendance as well as Service Corps managers available to answer questions about the program. Applications are due Friday, March 11th (You will be informed of your team assignment in the following week). Please email nycservicecorps@gmail.com to receive the application for the Service Corps. With nine potential projects to work with this season, there are more than enough volunteer opportunities so please spread the word about this season.
