The Vision 2050 study lays out a pathway leading to a global population of some 9 billion people living well, within the resource limits of our planet by 2050. Developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), Vision 2050 presents new opportunities for business to lead their societies on a sustainable business development agenda and represents a call to action that aims to encourage companies to reinvent themselves, their products and their services to get where they and society want to be. On this call Katherine and Olivier will explain how the Vision 2050 was developed, what the “must haves” by 2020 must be to reach these goals, the new agenda for business in Vision 2050, and how the Vision is being used.
