Prior to starting VerTerra, maker of eco-friendly disposable dinnerware, Michael received his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he won the Lang Fund competition, the outrageous business plan competition, and the Draper Fisher Jurvetson East Coast Venture Challenge. Michael will speak about how he started VerTerra, including how he set up a factory in India and placed his products at outlets such as Whole Foods and MOMA.
